I launched this blog towards the end of 2014. It came about after 2 years of working behind the scenes on MoGraph Mentor.
During that time I had mostly gone silent online and even let my previous blog, “RenderTime,” pretty much die.
I had a lot I wanted to contribute to the community but I had to focus on Mentor before speaking and writing.
Now that the time has come, where Mentor is in a great place and I have the mental capacity, I’m excited to continue building this site.
Here’s what to expect from me and this site going forward into 2015.
1. More in-depth content
It’s clear that this blog is serving a small niche of freelance artists who want to focus on business development and growing as artists and entrepreneurs.
This means tailoring content to fit this highly educated audience.
My goal is to create more in depth resources, webinars & articles that bring value to this community.
2. More Video Articles
Reading content is great, but most of us are visual learners.
I want to bring even more value to you by creating video content that brings you content in a more engaging way.
3. More Process Posts
I actually did a fair bit of freelance work in 2014, although most of it never found it’s way onto the internet.
In 2015 I’ll begin to release these projects along with in depth process posts.
Case studies of real life projects are a great way to learn and improve your own process.
The goal of this blog is to provide value to the community (a community that has given so much to me) and do it with quality and honesty.
I’m going to continue to be transparent and open.
I hope that it provides you value in the process.
Here’s to a great 2015.
